Some "news" updates & little question about possible group tags

I figured I'd do a little news updating for those who don't really follow Snow Man updates from Japanese sources (or twitter or something else) so here's some recent things, as well as one subject I'd want people's opinions of so if not interested about "update", just skip to the end of the post.

☃ Snow Man got their omake video for TakiChannel backnumber couple weeks ago (Watanabe & Sakuma cleaning after everyone, preview picture here). You can subscribe for TakiChannel backnumber episodes with a monthly fee that lets you watch all old videos + all omakes as much as you want during the time you have subscribed. I have written detailed instructions on how to subscribe here, feel free to ask if any questions (there are also older omake videos with snowmen ^^)

☃ Sanada got his own solo column for TVFan (first one from last week, preview picture here). It is a serial, but not sure yet how long it will continue. Not likely to be long serial, but perhaps related to how long his drama will take.

☃ Snow Man was confirmed to appear with Tackey on his summer solo concert tour about a week ago via Johnny's Jr FC (ジャニーズJr.情報局) email.

(No information yet whether noon boyz will appear in some summer concerts/butais. Ebi SUMMARY seemed likely because there were only evening or weekend shows, but new shows were added to early afternoon so who knows? Tackey & Matchy are the leads in fireworks show this year, so it's likely Tackey might take both Snow Man and noon boyz along there - there are no other shows scheduled for that day.)

☃ Snow Man has been confirmed to appear in DREAM BOYS 2012, and their pictures also appear on the show's page here

Btw would people WANT to get this kind of random news updates on the comm? I think many people probably follow twitter accounts that have this information fast, so I kind of feel like spamming if I post about these kind of news unless it's something that might disappear soon (like TakiChannel/Jnet vids) or something more major for snowmen... Let me know if you don't care even if it's spamming and will try post even small updates ^^;


As for the bigger question, now that Mis Snow Man has been divided into noon boyz and Snow Man for quite a while, and especially now that Snow Man does have their own name too, do you feel there should be group tags added to the community? As in "mis snow man", "noon boyz", "snow man". (Although then might need one for before MSM times, or just decide that anything older goes under the msm tag as well.) The community really doesn't get that many posts anyway (and I'd at least want to believe almost everyone here cares about all the boys to some extent at least XD;) so might not really be necessary at least for now, but possibly in the future?

So if you have an opinion of this matter, please leave it as a comment to this post ^^ Whether you think those kind of tags would be helpful, or if they aren't necessary, at least not yet.

I do get my informations from elsewhere before, but I wouldn't consider it spamming if some little informations like that were posted though =) I guess there are still some people who don't understand Japanese that could be interested. And at least if someone who doesn't know them well came on the community, it would be a way to show that MSM still have some activities, even though they're not big xD
For the tags I don't really know, sorry... Maybe it would become more useful when they get more activities xD;

Yeah I think those who really want to get updated asap and understand Japanese at least somewhat get their info elsewhere and fast, but for those who don't know Japanese or especially more casual fans they probably wouldn't get info elsewhere so even if it's little maybe should just update... There aren't that many posts anyway after all XD;
And yeah, might not be necessary yet at least :3

I think I've gotten too used to using twitter now because all info is there pretty much the moment it becomes official so feeling kinda "should I..?" about posting on LJ but maybe there aren't that many using twitter so LJ updates could be useful for many people X3 And true, LJ is good for people flailing over news because there aren't that much limitations to amount of text etc!

Lol yeah that's exactly what I was thinking XD; It might be easier now when there are still only few things... ALTHOUGH, who knows if they end up shuffling boys in groups later again and then would have to do something again... 8D; Even now I'd have to add group tags for like 500 posts (majority of which would be MSM anyway) so... :/

But if there's noon boyz tag there should also be Snow Man tag, and then tag(s) to use for earlier posts too for MSM times (and before) :3

But how to find noon boyz or snowman things easily then?
I mean, for me, in my super short spare time I might only want to look up noon boyz related XD

Kinda have to have a tag to look up for other posts too so if there's tag for one there needs to be those for others too ^^; Otherwise looking for posts without the group tag would also have to go through the ones with the other group's tag so it gets complicated :/

I was considering just having noon boyz and Snow Man tags at first too so it would be for just the "sub groups" and for everything else would be no tag but it would end up being complicated if wanting to look for full MSM stuff so... ^^;;

And for example, even if you want to just follow noon boyz related things, if you'd only follow noon boyz tag, if someone posts scans or translations or fics etc that are Mis Snow Man related, even though are about NonSana, you'd miss those so... ^^;;

Looks like "not yet" maybe... With Cinema Today calling Snow Man as sub unit of Mis Snow Man just now makes me wonder too... 8D Even if it is a long shot they'll be together again, I guess I at least wait until there might be some more need for tags X3

I think posting the info here would be a good idea. Not everyone has twitter, and not everyone WANTS to get twitter. As to other sources, not everyone can read japanese. As long as you don't post tiny bits of information 20 times each day, I doubt anyone will consider it spam.

I don't have twitter, I'm not planning on getting an account for now and I don't follow Snow Man's activities that much so this kind of post is useful for me, I don't see it as spamming at all! :3
And for the tags...I don't really know, maybe it's better to start using a "Noon boyz" and a "Snow Man" tag for now and leave the previous posts the way they are now...?

Well I think it better post their info here because for new fans, watching this page helps get quick knowledge of MSM. ( It's just like following their footprint. ) Even for die-hard fans, there exist times you cannot follow their news timely and fully.
As for tags, no need to change that of old posts, just start after Takki kun announced Snow Man as their group name- the first time MSM was divided into two groups officially. Or it will be tooo big a task.

About the tags, maybe it is better to add ''Noon boyz'' and ''Snow Man" from now ? I don't think you absolutely have to add these tags on old posts but it is true that it could help people who are for exemple searching a lot of interview of Snow Man ! If you need help to do this, I have a lot of time to waste recenty so I could add some tags if you want :)
About the random news it is a good thing to me to have them here. I'm not MSM's big fan but when I want to know about their activities I come here so it is my first source :).

To my mind there could have some Summary's show with MSM and some without MSM. Not only Noon boyz but maybe it could be possible that all the cast turns each time ? (^_^;)

I would love it~ If you want to post random things about anything related to them I will be happy to read it...Ü

For the tagging part umm...I think its good to have separate tags for "snow man" and "noon boyz." but for the time being I think its not yet necessary to have one,
since Snow Man just got their name back. But, Maybe for future activities when its already necessary?
but for me even though they have separated group they're still MiS SNOW MAN. (I'm sorry for not making sense here..><")
