[rumor] Hikaru drama role for next season

And our snowmen CONTINUE to be on a roll! For the next drama season, Hikaru will be appearing in Ikuta Touma's drama 'Osozaki no Himawari' which will start airing next month on Fuji TV, on Tuesdays 9:00pm.

Hikaru will play the role of Shimazaki Sho. No further information about the character, but most likely a minor role as the role name does not appear on the cast list on the website. Minor role or not it's wonderful that Hikaru seems to be getting drama roles regularly lately!!

Really happy it seems Hikaru is getting more possibilities to show his acting skills! Hope more snowmen would get to do it too.

Yeah, one of my friends retweeted it but personally I don't think something like that even qualifies as "rumor", it's simply someone's opinion. Too many debuts in a short while already, it'd be illogical to get even more. Not to mention Snow Man who doesn't even appear regularly in normal junior shows doesn't stand a chance at the moment, and also they are too important for stage shows now that ABC-Z has debuted as well, although I'd guess it's still likely Ebi might take part in at least some stage shows too. If history has taught us anything I think Snow Man's best possibility would probably be late debut after a lot of experience like EbiKisu (or KAT-TUN). Snow Man have sempais who have gone through the same road and acknowledge Snow Man's abilities and want to support them, same as Tackey, to hone their skills so one day they really could debut. Then there's the not so good possibilities where they might end up the MA family way with backup career that will probably never lead to debut, or be broken up for volley unit, but especially the latter one is unlikely since next volley unit won't be until after some years from now, and Snow Man would be too old for that purpose then, so at least we can feel somewhat assured they might stay together. As for Baka6, for them being broken into parts for volley debut seems more likely, but by then they'd be the older members to start the new group. These are all my speculations only, but well, in Johnny's history really DOES repeat itself after all... Not to mention any "random" debuts are too much risk for Johnny's who wants to secure Oricon 1st for debut singles so unless there's something to use those singles for and get a lot of exposure (as is the case with volley units who might debut members not as well known from earlier) so the very least there should be something big enough the new debut group song is used for to secure Oricon 1st.

...okay that was long XD; But really, all the "there's gonna be debut soon!!1" spazzing just kinda annoys me ^^;;; I've been into this fandom for about a decade already so I've seen it happen with different groups before, like Ya-Ya-yah for example, but then the groups are broken apart instead. So I'm taking all debut related rumors as a grain of salt until I hear it directly from the old man XD; But yeah, for now all I want is for Snow Man to get to appear regularly in the magazines and hopefully in some TV shows too, continue with shows and concerts and gain all kinds of skills in different areas and become even better for the sake of the day they might get to debut ♥

THE QUIZ was only one episode special drama so it won't continue anymore (although the DVD is released in December). He'll appear in a different drama.

And agree,i think Snow Man have the same road as KAT-TUN and EbiKisu too

I really hope Snow Man would go that same road. Even though it might be long, they know they have sempais who have gone through the same and who also support them. I trust Snow Man to have the endurance to be able to wait until that! Still, I've been translating their latest interviews this weekend and they talk about wanting to debut a LOT and my heart just... These boys are so wonderful ♥

They need new songs! Abe-chan was just talking in one interview how he wants to make songs, he should make new songs for Snow Man! Also hoping Snow Man would get more chances to sing since they don't appear in Shounen Club either ;~; According to DB reports Watanabe's singing has improved at least!

Yeah. And I think overall Johnny's should just wait until all the boys they debut are 20 to avoid trouble XD; Just think how many years SZ fans will have to worry the younger boys do something stupid before they can sigh from relief when all of them are 20! XD; Again, history with NEWS and JUMP show how things can go wrong there... ^^;
