Hikaru really is on a roll with drama appearances now, it's been announced he'll be in the THE QUIZ which airs first of September! Other juniors in the drama are Jesse (who is the lead) and Hagiya.

The drama will air first of September on Nihon Terebi. It's a late night drama which airs 25:20~26:20 (...so in other words the drama airs 1:20am on the second of September X3) Note that it's only one episode special, not a drama series.

The drama tells about a quiz show where the viewers can participate to win 100,000,000yen and 10 players are chosen to the final. However, what waits is a game where the players are killed one by one during the questions. Afraid of dying, some people start tricking the others...

- university student
- has good reflexes, national karate champion (OH YES!)
- hates studying and although doesn't study at all, is the hidden genius type who's able to answer the questions when needed
- loves motorcycles more than studying, is repeating a year in university
- simple personality, honest and can easily heat up, hates fraud and betrayal

Hikaru's character sounds amazing!! ♥ ...But he also sounds like someone who's gonna die for sure D=

(For those interested in Jesse's and Hagiya's characters, Jesse is soccer team vice captain, has common sense and a sense of justice, dependable and forgiving, while Hagiya is leader type, mature type who people depend on, but is cold hearted person who will trick others to win himself. ...somehow I think unless Hagiya dies first he'll be responsible for Hikaru's death ^^; Or well, we probably have other cheaters among the rest of the cast too X3)

He's totally the strong and honest type who can survive long enough with his power and tensai smartness, but is betrayed by someone before the end... (At least I hope that rather than being killed early ^^;;;)

Considering the drama airs in only about a week, I'm guessing his hairstyle should be around what it's been at Tackey cons now (so not dyed like Bakaleya movie) and he's looked really good so hope he's like that in the drama~~

I think someone will probably trick him or something, so would guess there's some cheater who will live longer than him... No idea about the original book so just guessing based on the usual patterns XD;

If judging based on the order of character list on the website, Jesse's character is first, next is Yamashita Rio who's the female lead, and after her is Hagiya, then Hikaru, and after them the others, so I'm hoping that would give some hint of importance of characters X3

I love this drama already. ♥ It sounds so interesting, too bad it's just a special.
Hikaru's character sounds amazing! And it somehow does fit him very well, I'm glad he's getting something different than the usual yankee/delinquent-type of role. :3

I'm kinda pretty bad with movies/series where people get killed, especially in this kind of atmosphere but definitely a must watch!!! (...and not like the fact I'm bad with this kind of stuff has stopped me from watching before, usually it just requires quite a lot covering of my eyes ^^; Can't do that with these boys on the screen though!)

Yeah, Hikaru's role is so perfect ♥ I'm just so glad he got a likeable role like that!!
