missnowmanA little HOT SNOW dvd celebration from me! \o/ (no, it's not that I'm just very late)
On July 15th, the director Takayama Kôji tweeted his thoughts about each of the 8 MSM members and their characters. So, I decided to translate it~
Also, Funabiki Kenta (former Jr Boys member) went to see the movie last summer. Some fans spotted him in the theater, and he actually tweeted about it later. So I translated his tweets too because it's cute =3
Takayama's tweets on July 15th :
【Shimizu Wataru/Watanabe-kun】
Inside me he was the most important character in the story. So I think I was the most demanding about his character more than anyone else.
There was also a day when all the members had come back home but only him was left for filming...
I think it must have been very hard, but as expecting from him, he responded to that. I'm really grateful to him !
【Yamaguchi Shuu/Sanada-kun】
When I collected impressions at the crank up, he said "I'm very frustrated about the basket cut".
There is a close-up of the basket ring when he scores, but it's really Sanada-kun that is throwing the ball.
He managed to score in 2 throws, but he's frustrated not to have been able to do it in one throw... I honestly thought it's impressive.
【Doi Soji/Sakuma-kun】
His acrobatics are incredible. Even during the rehearsal for the dance scene, he was the one that was revolving the most (laugh)
But, what is even more impressive is how fast he understands the acting ! When I said "do this line like this", his comprehensive faculty is incredible. I relied on Sakuma-kun for many things related to his acting, yeah.
【Tanno Fumiya/Fukasawa-kun】
It was decided that Fumiya would be like a teacher regarding dance.
But in fact it was a quite difficult character, so maybe it was a bit hard for Fukasawa-kun ?
However, I remember that Fukasawa-kun's voice was peculiar so it really helped in crosstalks.
【Reizen Masakatsu/Miyadate-kun】
We were always arguing over what to do with the muffler. But basically we decided to have it uniformly.
He is incredibly good in dance ne. The dance scene feels like it's been edited with Miyadate-kun's tempo as its base. Perfect ! (Date revision m(_ _)m) (I don't really get what he meant there either D: "舘修正")
【Yamaguchi Noriaki/Nozawa-kun】
Short jacket (his uniform's jacket => mijiran) and red t-shirt. For me, with an image of orthodox badness, it's the very first outfit that was decided.
But Nozawa-kun himself is a person really sociable, so even from a man's point of view, it's a man you’d think "he's cute~". Like, when you realize it, he's come near the monitor, smiling.
【Ryuzaki Akihiko/Abe-kun】
He was very reliable ! During breaks he was doing his homework, and nevertheless he understood the filming more than anyone else.
Me "Oh? Abe-kun, when this scene is finished, what is the next one again ?"
Abe "After this, it's the scene in the corridor", like that o(^▽^)o Even though he's the youngest, he's really adult...
【Hayashi Isamu/Iwamoto-kun】
It was the character that was the most similar to his real self. Even in the shooting places he was in charge of making laugh, and he showed us his Acimo and bamboo horse jokes !
And he was actually quite skillful at acting.

July 9th
Today I went to see a movie with my parents (^O^)/ It’s a movie called HOT SNOW (^O^)/ There was laughs, tears, it was a really good movie (^O^)/ I was so happy to see them working hard, the audience laughing and crying looking at them, that tears came to my eyes (>_<) Me too, I’ll work hard like everyone, more than everyone.
July 16th
It was the end today na (^O^)/ It’s otsukaresama, or thank you (^O^)/ I became really happy reading everyone’s tweets (^O^)/ These feelings are properly conveyed to them (^O^)/ Because they aaall are really good guys (^O^)/ I really had great partners (^O^)/
I wanted to see it about once more (^O^)/ Won’t they release a DVD… (^O^)/ I’ll write my impressions more firmly tomorrow (^O^)/

[Mis Snow Man @Myojo September issue] Repartition of the shooting day’s bentos : Yakiniku Bento → Fukasawa, Watanabe, Iwamoto, Miyadate. Sukiyaki bento → Sanada, Nozawa, Sakuma, Abe.
[Mis Snow Man @Myojo september issue] Fukasawa Tatsuya shouts “Oh, sekai no yuuki-saaan ! “ [oh, world’s Yuuki-saaan!] to Nozawa Yuuki who had finished his make-up and changing to the costumes. Nozawa smiled, looking a bit happy.
[Mis Snow Man @Myojo September issue] Abe Ryohei was wandering in the studio, looking for something. “Um… Where is the restroom?” (お手洗い) Quite elegant!
Then, Fukasawa Tatsuya having finished his lunch : "What is the 'o-theme' [with the polite o of Japanese language] of today's interview ?" Elegant… or not ?!
(usually you don’t put a polite “o” before foreign words… xD)

Snow Man’s talk about cohabitation in August issue. Here is a part that wasn’t in the final editing !
In the middle of the excitation, Sanada whispers with a serious face “it seems like nobody would go buy toilet paper and such…”. You would think that it would have gone away smoothly, but the members agreed violently all at once “aaah, that’s right !” (laugh). Here is another demonstration of their excellent team work !
