Drama "Kieta Hatsukoi" announcement (Meguro Ren)

Today it has been announced that Meguro Ren will star in the drama "Kieta Hatsukoi" together with Michieda Shunsuke from Naniwa Danshi! Meme will play the character Ida Kousuke and Micchi Aoki Souta. The story is based on the manga of the same title by Hinekure Wataru and Aruko ("Ore Monogatari") and to quote the J&A tweet: "Boy loves girl. Girl loves another boy! Then other boy thinks first boy loves him!" So... You read that right, this is a very wholesome BL (= Boys Love) story and Meme's and Micchi's characters will be falling in love in this drama! It's going to replace BiShounen's "High School Heros" oshidora spot on TV Asahi from October on, airing every Saturday at 23:30.

If you're interested in the manga, you can find scanlations online and it will also get an official English release on 5th October this year by Viz under the title "My Love Mix-Up!" which you can already pre-order at your usual bookstores and online.
